Three decades ago, the son of rubber tapper parents never dreamt that he would one day turn out to be the proprietor of biggest lifestyle tourism shopping gallery in Malacca as he even could not patronise a pasar malam because of financial constraints of his family. Since a teenager, Tee had harboured the hope to construct an exclusive shopping complex for Malaccans and turned his dream a reality when the RM800mil multi storey shopping gallery debuted here. He said 21 branded outlets, which are unique to Malacca will also commence their businesses at gallery where the 100 occupancies were expected to be achieved by 2015 Lunar New Year. We have more exciting brands setting up here that will cater to all Malaccans and tourists, he said. Earlier, Tee also launched Habib Groups three brands, Habib Jewels, Pandora and Ice Watch together with Habib Group assistant general manager Sheznie Merican.
